Adelaide’s Metabolomics Facility draws on the expertise of the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI) and Metabolomics Australia to provide bioscience researchers with the technology and expertise to analyse organisms at a metabolic level.
It is one of five nodes of Metabolomics Australia across the country. The technology can be used for drug discovery and development as well as in plant and microbial research, providing key information about the state of a plant or other organism in a clear, current ‘snapshot’.
